Pastor Antonio V. Scott is a native of Gary, Indiana, and resides in Jacksonville, N.C. He began his walk with Christ at age 19, has been affiliated, and served in Christian ministries and churches his entire adult life. He is a humble, holy spirit-filled, gifted servant of God. He displays a love for God and people from all walks of life. His ultimate desire is to be a compassionate, diligent, willing servant to do God’s will. He believes the Church plays a vital role in the community for healthy individuals and families. The Church is a city that sits on a hill that can not be hidden. Matthew (5:14)
He has been married to Justina Scott for over thirty-six years. They have two children and one grandson. They both have similar compassion and energy and work together in kingdom-building and enhancing the quality of people’s lives.

Pastor Scott served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for four years. His education includes a Diploma of Pastoral Studies from The East Carolina School for Minister, an extension of Shaw University and Divinity School, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of North Carolina in Social Work People Focus and Strengths Perspective, and a Doctorate Degree in Biblical Theology at Living Word Full Gospel Ministry and Bible College in 2018
He has served as a minister ambassador for Christ and shared Christ’s reconciliation ministry for over Forty years. He has served in churches in Indiana, Georgia, Japan, and North Carolina as a senior, associate, interim, and youth pastor. He has served in the Trent River Oakey Missionary Baptist Association as leader of Christian Education for twenty-seven years. He has served on the General State Convention of the North Congress of Christian Education and The Youth Oratorical Ministry.

As a visionary, Pastor Scott has developed, implemented, and coordinated events and learning opportunities to praise God, promote fellowship, and provide spiritual education. He has shared dramatic puppet ministry, facilitated seminars, and established an Academy for training ministers. He has a heart for serving all people, especially children, youth, and adults.

Pastor Scott teaches that Our relationship with God and one another is a treasure. He believes quality Christian education is a priority in growing a prosperous, healthy church and is essential to building solid faith in individuals, families, and strong communities. Preaching brings people to Christ, and teaching preserves and retains them in the church. He believes that Christian education creates Christian culture and imparts practical character to people of all ages, vital to a progressive ministry. He encourages having a joyful walk with Christ and meaningful relationships with one another.
